Your Kingdom Love Series: Love Does Not Envy

Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

In marriage, jealousy doesn't help because it makes you view your partner's strengths as a problem rather than a benefit to your relationship. Everything wonderful about your spouse is a bonus for your marriage because, in marriage, you're a team. The same goes for everything wonderful about you—it's a bonus for your marriage too.

You're not in competition with each other; you're each other's biggest cheerleaders. There's no room for jealousy or holding each other back. Instead, you should inspire and support each other's growth, like iron sharpening iron.

Remember to encourage each other's growth and cherish what makes your marriage unique, instead of allowing jealousy to become a roadblock.
